Spotify’s addition of the “daylist” feature has been the subject of much derision and bewilderment in recent months. Three times a day, Spotify updates your daylist with a new hyper-specific title and a selection of music based on your recent listening habits during a given time of day. Being A.I. generated, these playlist titles can be… something. Both the titles and descriptions often feature tags Spotify seemingly randomly assigns to music, including but not limited to the batshit insane “delulu” and the straight-up alarming “self-sabotaging.”
So of course, given the weirdly personal nature of a lot of these daylists, this was of interest to my nosy ass. On my Instagram story, I asked people to send me their funniest daylist titles, and I got some real doozies. Without further ado, here’s the list.
